	Formerly known as the AIDS Council of NSW, ACON was formed in 1985 as part of the community response to the impact of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Australia. Today, ACON is Australia’s largest community-based gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender(GLBT) health and HIV/AIDS organisation. ACON provides information, support and advocacy for the GLBT community and people living with or at risk of acquiring HIV,including sex workers and people who use drugs. ACON is home to the Lesbian and Gay Anti-Violence Project (AVP), the Community Support Network (CSN), and the Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP). ACON has its head office in Sydney as well as branches in the Illawarra, Northern Rivers, the Hunter region and the Mid North Coast.

	DEFGLIS was founded in 2002 as the Defence Gay and Lesbian Information Service to provide policy and community information to gay, lesbian and bisexual members of Defence. DEFGLIS now regularly delivers Defence LGBTI news across a range of mediums and hosts a range of activities to satisfy diverse interests across the membership base. Our members serve as LGBTI speakers to meet a range of Defence community needs. The association exists to strengthen the bonds of community and inclusive practice through engaged and resilient members who are capable of supporting each other.
	Welcome to Newtown Martial Arts /GLMA , an Inner West Martial Arts Club which focuses on Kung Fu, Kickboxing and Self Defence and Kids Kung Fu. Safety,Confidence,Self Esteem,and Martial Arts Competence in our 8 grade Black Belt Program will improve health, fitness the quality of your life .Competency is measured through a grading program and optional participation in competition. The club is run by Sixth Dan Black Belt Penny Gulliver who has over thirty years experience in martial arts and self defence.We train in Erskineville in Sydney’s inner west at the Erskineville Town Hall – 104 Erskineville Rd Erskineville Your first class is free so come along and try the club out. Beginners kung fu is on Tuesday night from 6.30 – 7.30pm. If you like the classes, you’re then encouraged to join the 6 week kickboxing course on Thursday nights 6-7pm. All kung fu classes are free while you’re doing the kick boxing. All are welcome!
	Susan Tyfield is an evidence-based chiropractor working in Darlinghurst and Waterloo. She is South African trained with over 10 years experience and registered to practice in both South Africa and Australia. Her special interests are sports and performing arts healthcare. She uses a combination of manual manipulative techniques, mobilisation, dry needling, kinesiotaping and other soft tissue techniques as well as neurological rehabilitation. Treatments are tailored to suit each individual patient.
	The Pollys Club, run by volunteers since 1964, provides the GLBTIQ community, supporters and their friends an alternative to commercial venues in a safe and friendly environment to enjoy an evening of dancing and entertainment and to raise money which is annually donated to various charities and community organisations. At each function, Pollys members are involved in a variety of activities; door and raffle tickets sales, patron meet and greet, staffing the bar, food preparation, performing in shows, follow-spot operators and stage managers. The club is always looking for like-minded, hardworking people to become members.
	The Sydney Gay & Lesbian Business Association Incorporated (SGLBA) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the professional support and development of members of the LGBTQI community throughout Sydney. We aim to increase corporate and individual business opportunities for our members through regular networking business and social events and the promotion of gays and lesbians in the wider business community.
