Wett Ones is Sydney’s Gay and Lesbian Swimming club and was established in 1991.  We are an inclusive club and welcome all lesbian, gay, transgender, queer, bisexual and heterosexual swimmers and their friends interested in swimming and related activities.  Our goal is to support and encourage swimming in a friendly environment.  While our main focus is on swimming in the pool, our members compete in various state, national and international carnivals, ocean swims and triathlons.

At Wett Ones, we cater for swimmers who have a minimum level of proficiency and who can participate in squad training up to advanced competition level.  At this time we do not provide learn-to-swim coaching, however we can recommend the Sydney Uni Swim School adult classes.  We use several specially reserved lanes, and provide varied swim programs which may include stroke correction through to advanced training for competition.  Our coaches are all accredited, ensuring that training is soundly based.

Wett Ones are one of the largest clubs in Aussie Masters Swimming in NSW and very well integrated with, and respected by, the NSW Masters Swimming community.  We are also an active member of Team Sydney and have previously been a member of the International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics (IGLA).
