Tenpin
Bowling
Feb 2009
7pm
Manhattan
Superbowl, Gardeners and Botany Roads, Mascot. Cost $30. |
This will be a fun night of tenpin bowling you can take seriously or just come along for a throw and giggle! If you really get into the swing of things there are medals to be won and prizes as well.
There will be prizes for teams and individuals bordering on the silly - just to balance the serious side of things! On that serious side the tournament will follow Ten Pin Bowling Australia rules and will be a
handicap event for those who bowl regularly in a league. If you don't have a handicap, don't worry, there will be a social competition just for you.
Sydney Rams aim to fill the Manhattan Bowl with super friendly family members on all the lanes.
If you haven't been to Manhattan at Mascot before, you'll find it has retro décor and is more than a little bit camp on Monday nights!
Register on the night but letting Rams know before that you are
participating will be appreciated.

Little Black Dress fun run
Feb 2009
9am
Paddington Gates - Centennial Park, Cnr Oxford St, Moore Park Rd and
Lang Rd, Paddington
Entry by donation. |
While the Mardi Gras Fun Run is for runners that at least know how to breathe properly,
the Little Black Dress Run is an event for everyone who wants to have even more fun! And raise some money for charity.
And astound the strollers in Centennial Park! The LBD, as it is known, has become an internationally recognised giggle in a very good cause. Come and join Sydney Frontrunners and a host of their friends as they celebrate their annual fundraising fun run.
The gentle jog around the park is approximately 5 kilometres and is more about being seen,
having fun and dressing up rather than serious running. Every year Frontrunners sponsor a
major charity and this year is no different. Little black cocktail numbers and heels, if you can manage them, will be all the go! |
