Baseball (Women)
Sydney Women's Baseball League
Women of all ages and skills come along every Sunday in winter to have a swing, get their eye in and test out their arm. Whilst we have many competitive players who will give you a good run for your money, some of our members are new to the sport, perhaps having only ever played softball or cricket.

Our players are a diverse group from a range of backgrounds and experiences.

Although we are based at Moore Park, near The Entertainment Quater, women have been known to travel from all corners of the greater Sydney region to join us - spanning the Northern Beaches, the west, the Shire and the Hills.

Also, if you are injured or have just put your cleats out to pasture, the League is always looking for coaches and umpires to help out the League.

Rugby

Sydney Convicts

The Sydney Convicts was formed with two broad goals in mind -

1. To provide a forum for gay men to play competitive rugby in an accepting and supportive environment, and

2. To represent Sydney in the local rugby competition, and in tours and tournaments in Australia and abroad.

The unofficial goals of the Convicts are to present an alternative image of gay men to both the mainstream and the gay community, and make football accessible to those who would otherwise be discouraged from playing rugby by perceived prejudice in the mainstream football community.

We play every Sunday between 3:30 to 5:30 at Centennial Park, along Oxford Street, above the underground reservoir. Matches are geared towards all levels of players. Depending on numbers on the day, we play 5-10 players each side on a reduced-size field. Most importantly, the Rangers' club is fun and friendly.

The Flying Bats were established 21 years ago by women who wanted to provide Sydney's sporty lesbian masses a safe and supportive environment in which to play football. The club has thrived over the years enjoying phenomenal success and popularity. We are not exclusively lesbian and welcome any women to come and play football.

We are a non-profit amateur football club with a non-political agenda. Our primary objective is to ensure the continued existence, success and growth of the club. We also strive to ensure that lesbians in Sydney have a fun and relaxed environment in which to play football and socialise.

Rowing Melbourne
Melbourne Argonauts Rowing Club
Whether you have excelled in sport or felt inhibited the Argonauts provides a safe and supportive environment for new rowers to gain skills and confidence in the sport while nurturing all levels. It starts from our “Learn To Row” program, and continues by working towards either competitive rowing, or simply rowing for fun and fitness. Along the way, lots of joy and friendship accompany the training, those early starts and the sense of accomplishment we all feel for what we achieve. We gather at our sheds at Albert Park Lake, encouraging each other, sharing our success and keeping our boats ready for our next effort with the oar.
